Thank you for always thinking of me.  I miss you so much.  I'm so blessed to talk to you almost everyday.

It's beginning to look a lot like...

 CHRISTMAS !!!

Every one of these pictures has a cat in it.  Not because I'm obsessed with her, but because she is obsessed with the tree and claimed it as her own from the moment I opened the box.

 She's crazy.

Here it is with just the lights.  They were actually sold out of the ones that were pre-lit, so I got a taller, more full tree for the same price and had the adventure of lighting it myself!  Just don't look at it too closely.

Here are some of the ornaments on it:

 You may recognize some that I stole from your Christmas box.  I hope that was OK.  Also, I bought some silly knitted animals for me, and some Charlie Brown Christmas ones for you.  The cat likes them all.  Especially the ones that dangle low enough for her to reach.

 It's not finished though.  I want you to choose the topper and put it on when you get home Christmas Eve.  It can be anything you want.  You can order it or send me out to buy it, but it has to be your choice. 

And then the tree will be perfect.
